A man has appeared in court accused of murdering a 22-year-old woman.
Jason Farrell, 49, allegedly killed Sammy-Lee Lodwig at a terraced house in the Mount Pleasant area of Swansea on 23 April.
On Monday, Farrell spoke only to confirm his name and date of birth during a short hearing in front of the city’s magistrates.
Prosecutor Lisa Jones said: “Because of the nature of the offences this is a case that must go directly to the Crown Court.”
Magistrates remanded Farrell, from Swansea, in custody until he appears at Swansea Crown Court on Tuesday.
