Thousands across Wales take to the water for New Year’s Day dips

A record 2048 swimmers and thousands of spectators braved the icy waters for the annual Saundersfoot New Year’s Day Swim in Pembrokeshire.

Meanwhile, the annual Barry Island New Years Day dip returned for the 36th year, with many raising money for children’s hospice Tŷ Hafan.
